SIGN MY SKIN
Official Guinness World Record Attempt
Most Signatures Tattooed on the Body
Sign My Skin is a live Guinness World Record attempt where participant signatures are tattooed permanently on one body during major tattoo conventions.
Montreal Tattoo Show • June 5–7, 2026
Quebec Tattoo Show • August 21–23, 2026
One body. Hundreds of signatures. One world record.
THE PROJECT
Sign My Skin is an officially approved Guinness World Record attempt for the Most Signatures Tattooed on the Body.
The project transforms tattooing into a live public experience where people can become part of a world record by signing directly on skin, with their signature then tattooed permanently during major tattoo conventions.
Taking place during the Montreal Tattoo Show and the Quebec Tattoo Show in 2026, the project combines live tattooing, public participation, media documentation, and event activation into a single record attempt environment.
Sign My Skin is designed as both a world record attempt and a long-term documentation project that records every participant, artist, and event connected to the project.
Why this project
Most tattoo-related signature projects and records focus mainly on celebrities, famous artists, or well-known personalities.
Sign My Skin is different.
This project is built around public participation and the tattoo community. Anyone attending the events can become part of the record by signing and having their signature tattooed as part of the project.
The goal is to create a collective piece made by hundreds of people — not only well-known names, but the public, tattoo artists, friends, visitors, and supporters of the project.
Each signature represents a real person who was physically present and became part of the project.
Together, these signatures form a permanent collective artwork created over multiple events and documented from beginning to end.
This project is not only about breaking a record. It is about participation, community, documentation, and creating something permanent together.
THE RECORD
The Guinness World Record category is:
Most Signatures Tattooed on the Body (Male).
During the events, participants will sign directly on skin, and professional tattoo artists will tattoo each signature permanently.
Each signature is documented, photographed, counted, and added to the official record attempt total.
The record attempt will take place across multiple days during the Montreal Tattoo Show and the Quebec Tattoo Show, with the final total submitted to Guinness World Records for official verification.
The number displayed on this website represents the official number of signatures tattooed during the record attempt events.

PARTICIPANTS
Participants are an essential part of the Sign My Skin project.
Each participant signs directly on skin, and their signature is tattooed permanently as part of the Guinness World Record attempt.
Every participant becomes part of the project and part of the official record attempt documentation.
Participants will be able to sign during the Montréal Tattoo Show and Québec Tattoo Show at the World Record Pavilion.
All signatures are tattooed live by professional tattoo artists and documented as part of the project archive.
Participants are listed by signature number along with the event where the signature was tattooed and the tattoo artist who completed the work.
Each signature tattooed as part of the Sign My Skin Guinness World Record attempt is documented and archived.
THE PROJECT CONTINUES
The Montréal and Québec events represent the first phase of the Sign My Skin project, where signatures are collected and tattooed live during the Guinness World Record attempt.
Sign My Skin is designed as a long-term project that continues beyond the initial record attempt.
Future phases of the project are planned to allow participation beyond the initial events, including digital participation where people will be able to submit their signatures from anywhere in the world, as well as additional live tattoo events at future conventions.
Sign My Skin is designed as a long-term project that continues to grow beyond the initial world record attempt.
